Skyway Dachshund Rescue was started with a great help from Jeanne Morton Wilson who passed away in 2009.

We are a local group of dedicated Dachshund lovers who volunteer our time to help this wonderful breed of dog.
We are dedicated to rescuing Dachshunds regardless of health or age. We pull them from animal shelters and accept them from individuals who can no longer keep them.
We take these dogs into our own homes to care for them, take them to the vet and evaluate their personality before making them available for adoption.
At Skyway Dachshund Rescue, we work together locally via email, phone and the internet. We only adopt the doxies to local (Florida) homes so we can keep in touch with the adopters to assure the Dachshund's future life is great.
